The third annual scientific meeting and AGM of the Primary Care Surgical Association was held in the Clarion Hotel in Cork on the 11th and 12th April 2014 with over 100 people in attendance. The PCSA had a very successful meeting with eight separate hands-on workshops and seven lectures by some of the most eminent plastic surgeons, dermatological surgeons and primary care surgeons in the United Kingdom and Ireland. There were also seven short papers entered for the ‘’Ross Ardill Memorial Prize’’. All the papers were of an extremely high standard and the judging panel, which included Professor Colin Bradley (UCC) and Dr Laurel Spooner (chairperson of the Association Surgeons in Primary Care, UK) had a very difficult time choosing a winner. However, after long deliberation, Dr John O’Keeffe from Morehampton Road, Dublin was announced as the overall winner of the first Ross Ardill Memorial Prize with his paper entitled ‘’Minimally Invasive Vasectomy – A New Technique’’……
