Dear Colleagues,
The Primary Care Surgical Association (PCSA) will be holding a full day masterclass on cryosurgery for beginners and improvers on Friday the 29th September 2017 in the Rose Hotel, Tralee. This will be hosted by Dr Paula Pasquali, a dermatologist from Spain, who is a world expert on cryosurgery and editor of a leading international textbook entitled ‘’Cryosurgery, A Practical Manual’’, published by Springer in 2015.
Dr Colm O’Mahony, consultant in Sexual Health in Chester UK, is a world renowned expert on genital warts and will give lectures and workshops on the diagnosis and treatment options including cryosurgery for genital warts.
Dr David Buckley, who has a special interest in community based dermatology and cryosurgery, will also present at the masterclass.
These eminent speakers, together with other national and international experts in cryosurgery, should provide an excellent and stimulating cryosurgery masterclass for beginners and improvers.
This masterclass will be run in conjunction with the 6th Annual Scientific Meeting of the PCSA which will be held on Friday afternoon, the 29th September 2017 and all day Saturday, the 30th September 2017 in Tralee. As per previous years, the PCSA annual scientific meeting will have an exciting program with some of the leading national and international speakers on community surgery. There will be a mixture of formal lectures and at least 4 hours of hands-on workshops. We are also inviting submissions for the ‘’Ross Ardill Prize’’ for the best scientific paper submitted for the meeting. See http://www.pcsa.ie for further detales.
The full scientific program will be published on our website (www.pcsa.ie) at the end of February 2017 so please keep an eye on our website.
